Draped along the soaring heights of the Himalayas, Nepal is where the icy breath of the mountains meets the steamy warmth of the Indian plains. It’s a land of yaks and yetis, stupas and Sherpas — and home to some of the best trekking trails on earth. The mighty Himalaya range stretches across Nepal’s northern and western regions, with eight of the world’s ten highest peaks, including the tallest of them all, Mount Everest, standing proudly within its borders.
Nepal is a mosaic of cultures and spiritual traditions, positioned at the crossroads of Hinduism and Buddhism. It is the revered birthplace of Lord Buddha and Goddess Sita, adding deep spiritual resonance to its natural grandeur.
The Kathmandu Valley cradles the Himalaya’s most sophisticated ancient urban cultures, with its three historic city-kingdoms — Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur — offering a rich tapestry of world-class art, architecture, and heritage.
Travelers can also extend their journey to Chitwan National Park, one of Asia’s finest wildlife reserves, or to Pokhara, a tranquil haven known for its lush forests, pristine lakes, and breathtaking Himalayan panoramas.
